PSA: Boracay is Finally Open to Tourists — Here’s A List of Requirements You Need Before Booking That Flight!
Boracay is finally open to local tourists and just like you we can’t wait to set foot on their famous white sands! But before you book that trip, add to cart those beach OOTDs that’s spent way too long on your wishlist, here’s a list of requirements you need as advised by Malay Municipal Tourism Office – Aklan, so you can have a hassle-free dose of much needed Vitamin Sea;
Boracay Requirements (Regardless of your airline):
Negative RT-PCR Test (Taken at least 72 hours before day of arrival)
Secure additional required documents, if any of your destination’s Local Government Unit (LGU). Please refer to “Passengers traveling to areas in Luzon/Visayas/Mindanao” for any additional requirements of your LGU. (Note: these requirements may change at short notice)
Step-by-Step Tourist Guide from Malay Municipal Tourism Office – Aklan:
Access aklan.gov.ph and click Online Health Declaration. Click Boracay in the Where To page.
Fill out required fields and click submit
Upon submission, a confirmation with instructions will be displayed
Save as copy of the HDC on your smartphone or if using a computer, have it printed
Make sure that your hotel accommodations are classified by DOT Accommodation Establishments with Certificate of Authority to Operate (CAO) / Provisional Certificate of Authority to Operate (PCAO) you can view the full list of establishments here: https://tinyurl.com/BoracayCAO
