What is UVA/UVB?
UV (ultraviolet) rays are damaging to our skin. UVA rays cause skin aging and skin darkening, while UVB rays cause sunburn.
What is SPF?
SPF = Sun Protection Factor! This determines your level of protection from the sun’s UV rays.

Are Beach Hut products safe for kids?
Our Max 100 Kids Lotion Sunscreen 50mL & Kids Spray Sunscreen 150mL are safe for kids 6 months and up! For your little ones aged 6 and below, kindly consult your doctor.
Is the Beach Hut for Kids line safe for kids with G6PD?
Our Max 100 Kids Lotion Sunscreen 50mL & Kids Spray Sunscreen 150mL are free from ingredients that are harmful to kids with G6PD (Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency). However, we still recommend consulting your doctor before usage.

Are your Beach Hut Tanning Essentials transfer-proof?
Yes, our tanning essentials are transfer-proof as long as you let the skin absorb the product for at least 10-15 mins.

What is Beach Hut Naturals Reef Safe Sunscreen?
Our Beach Hut Naturals Reef Safe SPF 50 sunscreen is a physical sunscreen free from chemicals (oxybenzone and octinoxate) that are toxic to our coral reefs and marine life. This makes it compliant with the Hawaii Reef Bill!
What is a physical sunscreen?
Physical sunscreens are sun filters that stay on the top layer of skin that reflects UV rays. This type of sunscreen does not cause bleaching or damage to marine life, making it reef safe!
What is the Hawaii Reef Bill?
This bill bans the sale of sunscreens that contain chemicals that are toxic to coral reefs, AKA oxybenzone and octinoxate, as they contribute to coral damage and bleaching.
